Credit Intelligence

What the ntcr delivers

One Report. Every Creditor. The Full Picture.

The NACM National Trade Credit Report consolidates real trade payment data from member companies across the country into a single, unified report. When you pull an NTCR, you’re not looking at modeled estimates. You’re seeing verified payment performance from businesses who have actually extended credit to your customer.

Credit decisions made on incomplete data cost businesses money. The NTCR exists to close that gap. You get a consolidated view of how a company pays across its entire creditor network, combined with the public record and legal data that reveals what payment history alone cannot.

Why It Matters

Built for the decisions that protect your business.

The NTCR gives credit professionals the depth and breadth of data needed to evaluate risk, set terms, and extend credit with confidence. Not guesswork.

Predict payment behavior before it happens

The Predictive Score forecasts delinquency 6 months out using 12 months of historical trade data, giving you the ability to act before a customer becomes a collection problem.

See how they pay everyone, not just you

Tradeline data aggregated from NACM Affiliates nationwide reveals the full payment picture across industries, geographies, and credit relationships.

Uncover hidden liabilities before you're exposed

Public records, bankruptcies, UCC filings, and collection claims surface legal and financial risk that trade payment data alone won't show.

Get early warning on deteriorating accounts

Alerts reported by NACM members flag NSF checks, attorney placements, and delinquency changes in near real-time, not weeks later in a batch update.

Track payment trends over time

Monthly and quarterly trending summaries show whether a company is improving, stable, or deteriorating, providing context that a single snapshot report cannot.

Verify who you're actually doing business with

Corporate information, officer data, registered agents, DBA names, and related subjects help confirm entity identity and reveal connected businesses.

predictive score

Know What's Coming Before It Costs You.

The Predictive Score uses 12 months of historical trade data to predict late payments and severe delinquency looking forward 6 months. Based on current aging status, historical aging trends, variance in payment patterns, and other business characteristics, the score tells you where a customer is headed — not just where they’ve been. Each report includes a complete score explanation.

Tradelines

How They Pay Everyone Else Tells You Everything.

Tradelines are the backbone of the NTCR. Each entry represents verified payment experience reported by an NACM member company. Because data is aggregated from Affiliates nationwide, you see how a business pays across geographies and industries — not just your market.

The Tradeline Total summarizes all reported activity into weighted average DBT and aging distribution, giving you an at-a-glance risk indicator backed by the full data set.

DBT (Days Beyond Terms) calculated automatically by a systemwide algorithm
